Priced for African schools, not Silicon Valley.

The Bundu Education frameworks are open and free. These tiers are how Nyuchi Learning helps schools that want company on the implementation. Numbers are nominal; sliding-scale and local-currency arrangements are available when even these are out of reach.

Four tiers

From free to fully partnered.

Free is genuinely free — the Foundation's frameworks plus community support. Paid tiers are anchored low: $50/year gets you priority email; $250/year gets you a working relationship with three hours of 1:1 time.

Two costs, not one

The framework cost. Then the engagement cost.

A school running the K-12 Digital Campus framework pays for two things: the framework itself (devices, hosting, training, support — published by the Foundation as cost scenarios) and optionally Nyuchi Learning's time on top. The first is what everyone pays. The second is what some schools choose.

Common questions

Before you book a call.

  • Why is this so much cheaper than developed-world ed-tech pricing?

Because we're priced for African schools, not for what the market will bear in California. The unit economics of supporting an under-resourced Zimbabwean public school are different from a New York charter network, and the price has to reflect that or none of this works. We're sustainable on these numbers because the cost base is local too — Nyuchi runs from the continent it serves.

  • What if even $50/year is too much?

Talk to us. We have sliding-scale arrangements for schools where the nominal price is still out of reach. We invoice in local currency, accept mobile money (EcoCash, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), and offer payment plans. The framework itself is always free regardless of whether you ever pay us a cent.

  • What's the difference between this and the deployment cost analysis on bundu.org?

Two different things. The Foundation publishes deployment cost scenarios for the framework itself — what it costs a school to run the stack ($0–15K minimal up to $120–180K comprehensive over three years). That covers infrastructure, devices, hosting, and training. The tiers above are what Nyuchi charges to help your team plan and deliver against whichever scenario you pick.

  • Can I move between tiers?

Yes. Upgrade any time and we credit the unused remainder of your current tier. Downgrade at renewal.

  • What about districts with multiple schools?

The Network tier is built for that. Pricing is per-engagement rather than per-school, and the per-school cost typically lands well below $250/year. Get in touch and we'll scope what fits the district shape.

  • What about NGOs and government partnerships?

Same — Network tier. We've designed it for the procurement realities of public-sector and donor-funded programmes: longer timelines, multi-school scope, and budgets that need to defend themselves to a board. Talk to us early so we can shape the engagement around your funding cycle.

Not sure which tier fits?

Book a free 45-minute consultation. We'll talk through your school's reality and recommend the engagement that makes sense — including Free, if that's the honest answer.
